Scripture text: Romans 2: 1-16         Preacher: Rev. David Sutherland           Date: 14 June 2015 (Evening)

The second chapter of Paul’s letter to the Romans is addressed to those who are quick to condemn the sins of others but blind to their own, who presume that God in his forbearance will overlook their sins, and who suppose that their high moral stance will somehow render them exempt from God’s wrath, whilst all the time remaining oblivious to the truth—that only those who have faith in Jesus Christ will escape God’s righteous judgement. The sermon explores that lesson and considers how each of us must apply it to our own personal life.
