Scripture Text: Philippians 1:3-11 Preacher: Rev. David Sutherland Date: 26 March 2017
This is the second of a series of sermons on the Letter to the Philippians. Following the address and greeting, Paul opens his letter with thanksgiving and prayer. Bearing in mind our frequent quandary about what to pray for, the sermon considers how we might use Paul’s prayer for the Christians in Philippi as an example to guide our own prayers.
The following Psalms were sung in conjunction with this sermon: Psalm 108:1-6; Psalm 109:19-24; Psalm 110:1-7.
