Most European nations, together with the USA, are currently wrestling with the problem of immigration. This sermon examines the subject from a biblical perspective and identifies the main issues, which include whether or not it is morally permissible to settle in a foreign country, our personal attitude towards immigrants, the payment of state benefits, conformity to the laws and customs of the host country, and the legitimacy of immigration control.
